Please join us on Saturday, Sept. 18th from 9am to 2pm for Safety Day at AHS/Popcorn Park!  There will be a re-dedication of our turtle enclosure in loving memory of NJ State Police Officer Mark Castellano, who was struck and killed while on duty, which prompted the creation of the Move Over Law.

First responders will be on hand to meet and greet, and answer questions, and also display their vehicles and equipment.  Refreshments will be available for purchase as well.  All proceeds will benefit the animals here at Associated Humane Societies/Popcorn Park Animal Refuge.  Safety practices and COVID guidelines will be in place.  We hope you’ll join us to show your support and take the pledge to, “Move Over and Slow Down”, at 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ 08731.  Call 609-693-1900 or email:  rszorosy@ahsppz.org with any questions.
