Adopting At Our Shelters
The Associated Humane Societies (AHS) sees a constant influx of dogs, cats, and other domestic pets seeking a new home. We ensure that all adopted pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before they go home with you.

Providing a Refuge For Animals In Need
Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for animals who faced desperate circumstances and/or death. Popcorn Park began in 1977 when we rescued and treated a raccoon caught in a leg-hold trap. We gave him a home for life as he could never be released and survive.
Soon Popcorn Park became a permanent home to exotics, wildlife, farm animals, and birds who suffered abandonment, cruelty, injury, illness, handicap, exploitation, old age, inappropriate ownership, or who could not be safely returned to the wild. Popcorn Park Refuge, located in the scenic Pine Barrens of Ocean County, is now home to over 200 animals and birds. All are provided spacious living quarters and assured a lifetime of good care.
What We Do
Popcorn Park provides a permanent home to hundreds of rescued wildlife, exotic, and farm animals that have suffered from abandonment, cruelty, injury, illness, or other unfortunate circumstances. Our goal is to give them a lifetime of good care.

About Our Service
At each of our shelters, we provide a safe home for animals who have nowhere else to go. We offer food and care intended to help the animals thrive. We focus on identifying and facilitating loving forever homes for domestic pets.
