AHS Summer Lovin’ Adoption Event

Please join us for our AHS Popcorn Park Summer Lovin’ Adoption Event! It’s happening on Saturday, June 29th from 4pm to 7pm right here at 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ. We need your help to make this event our best adoption day yet!
Summer months bring a slowdown in adoptions. There are vacations to consider, locals going out of town to make room for the tourists coming into town, and families having less time and resources to welcome a new pet into their lives. The thing is, pets NEVER STOP coming through our doors! All three of our AHS shelters are full to capacity, always, with wonderful, healthy pets that are with us through no fault of their own. We are at a point now where there are more pets entering the shelters than there are pets being adopted!
If you are in a position to adopt, please stop by and meet your new best friend! We’re going to have reduced adoption fees and knowledgeable staff and volunteers on hand to introduce you to our awesome adoptables. There’s food, fun, and so much more, but most importantly, so many dogs, cats, and small pets that are so eager to meet YOU! If you are not in a position to adopt right now but still want to help animals in need, stop by! There are countless opportunities for you to get involved such as: volunteering, fostering, sponsoring a pet from a Share A Pet program, and more.
