Humane Heroes June 2021
7th Grader from Tinton Falls Gives Back…
Thank you so much to junior Humane Hero, Daniel Harris! This animal-lover is in the 7th grade at Tinton Falls Middle School and for his project in the International Honor Society, Daniel held a donation drive for the animals at our Tinton Falls facility. He contacted his neighbors with fliers that he created, asking for their help in collecting items for our animals. Daniel stopped by with his young siblings and delivered blankets, cat litter, treats, and so much more. Thank you so much Daniel! Keep up the good work!
Girl Scout Troop Helps Newark Animals….
All of us at AHS are so grateful to the young ladies of Girl Scout Troop #96971 from Hawthorne, NJ! These young Humane Heroes held a donation drive for the animals at our Newark facility and they collected tons of great items! From pet beds to food, to treats and toys, the girls worked hard to help our animals and we appreciate their efforts so much. Keep up the great work!
Lacey Ladies Help our Animals!
Thank you so much to the animal-loving ladies of the Women’s Club of Lacey! The club holds a donation drive for our animals at AHS/Popcorn Park about every six months and they stopped by recently with all of the great items they collected. We are so appreciative for all of the dog and cat food, blankets, toys, newspapers, and more that they ladies collect for our animals and thank them so much for their efforts!
Pageant Participants Help AHS/Popcorn Park Animals!
Thank you so very much to junior Humane Heroes, Gianna Rose and Jayden Tattoli! These amazing young ladies participated in the United Miss Garden State pageant and as part of their community service, they decided to hold a donation drive for our animals at the AHS/Popcorn Park facility. They stopped by with lots and lots of blankets, dog food, toys, bird seed, cleaning supplies, buckets and much more! We can’t thank them enough for their efforts!
