Our Newark and Lacey Veterinary Clinics provide low-cost spay/neuter surgeries for dogs and cats over 12 weeks of age. The clinic veterinarians provide top quality care and are well seasoned in spay/neuter surgeries. Spay/Neuter has proven to have a significant health benefits and helps reduce the overpopulation of homeless animals.
Spay / Neuter
Schedule spay/neuter surgeries through our Lacey and Newark Veterinary Clinics, as well as our Mobile Clinic. Our Mobile Clinic travels throughout Essex, Hudson, and Union County.
All animals also receive a nail trim, ear cleaning. Microchipping, and any necessary vaccinations will be done by request for an additional cost. Microchipping & ID Tags
All pets adopted from AHS are microchipped before going home, and we can’t stress enough how important it is to do so for your own animals. If your pet was lost, all shelters, veterinarians, and police departments can scan your pet and look for the owner information.
Less than 22% of lost pets that enter animal shelters are reunited with their families. Pets that have a microchip are 52% more likely to find their way back home.
