Help us welcome Brian Hackett and join AHS as we strive to impact animal welfare policy in New Jersey

Please help us welcome our newest team member, Brian Hackett, who joins AHS as our new Director of Government and Community Relations. In this new position, Brian will be our spokesperson in spearheading animal welfare issues on the state and local level in New Jersey.

In addition, he will be responsible for building partnerships with community stakeholders as we expand AHS’s animal welfare services. Brian’s background as Legislative Affairs Manager for the Animal Legal Defense Fund and NJ State Director for the Humane Society of the United States makes him an ideal person to extend the presence of the largest animal welfare organization in New Jersey.
