Make an Impact! Advocate for Animals in Need.
When advocating, be sure to be effective:
- Be prepared
- Be honest and respectful
- State the problem and share the facts
- Make the ask, i.e.: please sponsor an animal protection bill
- Listen to what the elected official and/or their staff say about the issue
- Make a plan for follow up

If you would like to join us in person to advocate for animals in Trenton, AHS regularly attends the statehouse and participates in advocacy events in Trenton.
