At Associated Humane Societies/Popcorn Park, we are so fortunate to have the best supporters on earth! Humane Heroes, as we like to call them, that take it upon themselves to do great things for our animals not for recognition, but simply out of the goodness of their hearts. They realize that as a non-profit animal welfare organization, it becomes difficult to raise the funds that we need to operate three animal shelters in NJ and Popcorn Park Animal Refuge in Forked River, NJ. Sometimes the help we receive comes in the form of a bag or two of pet food, and sometimes it’s a tractor-trailer full of donations. Sometimes a small business or individual will build us or donate a new piece of equipment, other times a group will come in and work on a project at one of our locations.
Hold a fundraiser yourself…
Whatever the donation may be; a fundraiser, a donation drive, a sale where we receive a portion of the proceeds, or a day where people get their hands dirty to help us on a project, we appreciate all of it. This section of our website is dedicated to the Humane Heroes that make it all possible, that never forget us and our animals, no matter what is going on in the world.
